Villa G Testimonials

A Great Holiday

My name is William Groth and I have lived for the past 42 years in an electric wheelchair (C5 quadriplegic). Two of my sisters a support worker and her daughter and my self went on holidays to Bali and stayed in Villa G. We all hade a great time and shopped our self silly. We all ate out at lovely restaurants along and near the beach. They’re lots of small shops and stalls all over the place. We hired the Bali Access Travel van for our day trips (Safari- and Marine Park, Ubud Monkey Forest, Bali Museum, Bali Shell Museum, Coffee Plantaion Rice Field the volcano and much much more). The people in Bali are all lovely and helpful.

And now a special thanks to Marshall, Feri our hosts and the helpful staff of Villa G. “I WILL BE BACK”

Holiday treat

Largely it has been all said before in previous reviews. The villa and it's surrounds are user friendly for a electric or a manual wheelchair user. There is a fulltime staff member on site (Made) who is extraordinarily helpful, and cooks a most spectacular breakfast, lf you have a special request for breakfast she will attempt to make if for you (her pancakes and fried rice are delicious). Having Made on site, doesn't encroach on the holiday experience, she is very discreet and avails herself to you if needed. It is a beautifully appointed villa (you won't be disappointed), and the pool and pool hoist are fantastic, too lounge in a pool on a hot day, after sitting in a wheelchair all day and sweaty..it's a joy the cool pool water.

Beyond the walls of the villa, the paths are bumpy, though l drove my electric wheelchair on the road on the bicycle path amongst the traffic, scary initially, then afterwards, l just zipped along with the traffic. Hint:
keep moving. The beach front path, which goes for a few kilometres is totally wheelchair friendly (no hazardous bumps), with plenty of restaurants and stalls, and locals prepared to give you a great massage at a small price (negotiate) on the sandy beach (wheelchair ok) had my feet, neck head and shoulders massaged, a treat!

Kadek who drives the wheelchair accesible bus (organised with accommodation) and his partner Deiwei are a wonderful source of information on the local sights. Go and visit the monkeys in Ubud, the steepled rice fields, and the views of the volcano (Agung) from a amazing viewing point, amongst the clouds.

Marahall and Feri, the owners of the Villa G, were visiting Sanur whilst we there, which was our good fortune, as they are the perfect hosts.

Thanks Koman and Irena who also work at the Villa G.

absolutely fantastic!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the Villa G. We were looked after from the the word go and nothing was too much trouble for Made and her team. We would also like to thank Feri and Marshall for all there help with organising our commitment ceremony and and suckling pig BBq which we had at the Villa.
The Villa is conviently located within minutes of the beach and resturants, bars and shopping. My partners son Kyle who is wheelchair bound had easy access to the majority of restaurants and bars as well the beach which he loved.
Bali access travel which was organised through the villa also deserve a special mention for getting us around other areas of Bali, these guys do a great job and really looked after us. If you are disabled and have ever dreamed of travelling to bali this is the place to stay!

A wonderful holiday

Stayed at VillaG in November with my dad who is in a wheelchair. Our stay was wonderful. Mum and dad had a stress free holiday - my sisters and I also really enjoyed our stay there. Made and her staff were very caring and nothing was to much trouble for them. The villa is perfect for people in Wheelchairs with no steps, all rails in toilets and showers and even a lift for the pool ! There are several restaurants nearby which are easily accessible for wheelchairs and the streets of Sanur are much easier than Kuta streets. If you dont want to go out for a meal, then try the inhouse BBQ - chefs come and cook a BBQ for you - beautiful ! We hired Bali access Travel to get out and about - van accommadates wheelchairs complete with all safety equipments Kadek and staff are superb...once again nothing was too much trouble to ask. Would highly recommend.
We even managed to get dad a massage - they came to the Villa - dad was in heaven !
We will definitely stay at Villa G again (mum and dads health permitting as they are in their 80's) - once again I cant recommend the Villa G and staff highly enough
We will be going back to Villa G again
